Melete came to us from Pet Helpers.
Melete is the newest member of the Hallie Hill Family. She came from Pet Helpers who trapped her with many other feral dogs in the Sol Legare area of James Island. She spent most of her life with her foster dad: Brian Foster. He did a wonderful job socializing her. She has joined the “Patio Pack” which is a group of dogs that live in the patio area beside the bunkhouse. Melete is still very shy, but will take treats from us and has been spotted playing with toys when she doesn’t know anyone is watching. Welcome Melete!

Congratulations Chloe! We are so happy that this sweet little girl found a loving home with Ms Kerry Badger! She is 8 years old- so it shows it is never too late to get a fresh start. We hear that Chloe loves going on weekend adventures with her good friend Roscoe. We are so happy for you Chloe!!!

Congratulations Lucy! She has found her new home in Boone, NC with Sophie who was also adopted from us by the Greene family in February of 2013. Her new owner says the two girls are best friends and love to play and explore together.

The kindergarten classes at Orange Grove Elementary Charter School made many animals happy. It took two vehicles to deliver the food, treats, toys, towels, leashes, and collars that the students donated. (The picture above does not show all of the donated items) We can’t thank the students, parents, and faculty of Orange Grove enough for their generosity.

Tuck
We want to welcome “Tuck” from the Charleston Animal Society. Due to some serious medical issues he was not able to be adopted, but we are thrilled to have him join the Hallie Hill family.

A sweet lab / spaniel mix named Scarlet (formerly Easter) has found her ‘furever’ home with the Brown family! We are thrilled for both Scarlet and her new family!
