Routine exams, vaccinations, and parasite prevention are paid by the MAGIC Fund and much, much more…
Kaylee suffers from seizures, a pancreatic problem as well as diabetes. She also needed eye surgery upon arrival.
The MAGIC (Medical And Geriatric Intensive Care) FUND is used to cover the many medical costs that arise at the sanctuary. New arrivals require vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries. All of the 200 animals receive monthly heart worm and flea preventative. Many of the animals develop orthopedic or other health problems that require surgery. Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary also has many animals that require daily medications for everything from diabetes to arthritis. Many of the senior residents need more medical interventions as they age. Your donation to this fund helps to ensure the animals get the medical attention they need to live healthy, pain-free lives.
