The Asher House Visits Hallie Hill

Lee Asher, with The Asher House, is coming to Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary on Saturday, May 25th!

From 11am – 1pm, the community is invited to hang out with Lee and his team, tour the sanctuary, and maybe even adopt an adorable rescue of their own!

Lee, who recently appeared on TheEllenShow, travels the country in an RV with his rescues, partnering with local shelters along the way to highlight the amazing, but often overlooked animals available for adoption. Lee has selected Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary to be one of those stops.

Meet Caroline, Hallie Hill’s new Adoption Coordinator/Operations Assistant! Caroline has a background in design and marketing, as well as positive reinforcement dog training and animal care. She is thrilled to be pursuing a career working with animals, and is looking forward to finding loving homes for the wonderful dogs and cats at Hallie Hill! Caroline lives with her husband Matthew, a Nuclear Submarine Officer, and their sweet rescue pup Dallas. We are so excited to welcome you to the team, Caroline! Welcome to the Hallie Hill family!

May Volunteer Spotlight: Barbara Harkins

Barbara Harkins is an incredible volunteer who came to us with many years of experience in animal rescue. She worked performing clinical dental cleanings on dogs and cats and worked at a shelter in Georgia for many years. She currently fosters dogs and cats, helping to prepare them for adoption or allowing them the comforts of her home in the final months of their lives. Barbara’s cheerful attitude and friendly personality make her a hit when representing the Sanctuary at community events. Thank you, Barbara, for all that you do for us, we could not have a better advocate for our dogs and cats at Hallie Hill!
